Blue Screen error or otherwise refereed as Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) is the one of the error of Microsoft Windows Operating System.  It is a critical error which states that your computer is in serious problem and it need to be fixed. The cause of Blue Screen is of several reason like Software bugs, device driver problem, problem in hardware(faulty memory, power supply, hardware is operating beyond its specified limits etc). After any serious crash into your system when you power on the computer a Blue Screen with some error code will be displayed, this Blue screen states that your computer encounter blue screen error. The Stop code displayed in the Blue Screen Can help you during the troubleshooting.

How To fix Blue Screen Error

Blue screen error require very specific troubleshooting . lets explore the steps how you can fix the problem.

1. check with the Safe mode- 

Safe mode is the diagnostic mode in the computer. only few programs will run in the Safe mode. Check your computer is booting up in safe mode or not. if it is working in Safe mode. then it must be problem with some application. Because in case if there is any problem with hardware computer will also never boot up in safe mode. you can boot it into safe mode by continuously pressing F8 key as soon as you turn on your computer and you will see Several Boot option. Select Safe mode and hit Enter.

2. If it is working in Safe mode then check for the newly installed software and remove them. Because most probably these newly installed software can cause problem with Kernel of OS. then restart the computer and check if it booting up normally or not.

3. Disabling all the Start-up items

Try Disabling all the start-up items during the computer starts and try to reboot the computer and check if it is working or not . To disable all the Start-up item.open the Microsoft System Configuration utility or MS-Config. To open the MS-Config press the Window Key+R key from the keyboard then a “Run” box will appear. Type in the Run Box “msconfig” and hit “Ok”. MS-Config window will open up, then select the start-up tab from top and disable all the start-up items and hit Apply then OK. Then Restart the Computer.

4.  Check with LKGC Mode

If you Still receiving the Same Problem Try the System Restore by going into the safe mode. or you can also check it using LKGC (Last Known Good Configuration). LKGC is a previously automatic updated configuration of Operating system running file to the time it was running efficiently. To go into the LKGC mode you need to go to the Advance boot option screen by pressing the F8 key from the keyboard continuously as soon as you restart the computer. There you will see option Last Known Good configuration and try to boot it up in LKGC mode.

5. Scan the Computer

Some infection can also cause Blue screen error problem. so you can also run some antivirus like Malware bytes.

These are the steps that which will help you to troubleshoot Blue Screen Error. Also you can check the System Ram which may also cause the Problem.
