How to insert Line in Microsoft word

Insert Horizontal Lines in Microsoft Word 2007

If you want to insert horizontal lines in Microsoft Word, its very easy word trick to do by typing 3 hyphens “-” and then by pressing Enter from keyboard.

3 hyphen(-)+[Enter] = To draw a simple Straight Line.

Microsoft word If you want to draw lines of different shades use the following .

3 asterisks (*)+[Enter]= To draw a Dotted Line.

3 underscores (_)+[Enter] =To draw Dark Bold Line.

3 equal signs (=) +[Enter]= To draw Double Line.

3 pound signs (#)+[Enter]= To draw double shadow Line.

3 tildes signs (~)+[Enter] = To draw a tilde Line


 

To Remove

Put the cursor directly above the line.
Select Borders and Shading from the Format menu.
Click the None box and click OK.
